MarkFischer is the registered messaging brand for Cowboy Pool Alerts. SMS consent is collected through the Owner SMS Opt-In web form.
How consent is collected
The opt-in form requires the recipient to enter a mobile phone number and affirmatively select an SMS consent checkbox. The checkbox is unchecked by default and the form cannot be submitted until it is selected.
Consent disclosure shown on the form
The disclosure identifies MarkFischer - Cowboy Pool Alerts, describes the equipment-status, automation, safety, fault, corrective-action, and recovery messages, states that message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply, provides STOP and HELP instructions, and states that consent is not a condition of purchase.
